Laser hair removal (ALEXPRO)
- The skin in the area to be treated must not be dry or irritated; if necessary, emollients (moisturising, nourishing and soothing creams) should be applied a few days beforehand, but not on the day of the treatment
- The day before your first treatment, you should shave the treatment area – leave a square with sides of approximately 5 cm to allow the practitioner to assess the colour and thickness of the hair; this area will then be shaved by the practitioner
- Aspirin and other blood-thinning substances should be avoided
- Your skin must not be tanned or have any self-tanning product applied to it
- Important - 24 hours You should not drink alcohol before or after the procedure
- The skin should be clean – do not use creams or lotions

- Rare (permanent and temporary, lasting up to several weeks) – skin discolouration, scars and bruises,
- Common (short-term) – mild burns similar to sunburn (lasting up to 1–2 hours after the treatment), skin redness, perifollicular oedema (the severity and extent of which depend on the sensitivity of the area), blisters, scabs and erosions.
- Treat your skin gently for 2–3 days after the treatment: - wash with a soap-free gel, toner, alcohol-free cleansing milk or plain water - do not use deodorants or antiperspirants (if the underarms were treated) - use talcum powder, Bepanthen cream or Dermopanthen - gently pat the skin dry; do not rub or irritate the skin in any other way
- For two weeks following the treatment, you must not use exfoliating cosmetics.
- Sunbathing is not permitted for 4 weeks following the procedure; it is recommended that you use sunscreen with an SPF of 50 or higher.
