The pores on our skin are nothing more than the outlets of the sebaceous glands that allow the skin to expel sebum and moisture. They occur on everyone's skin and can vary in size, shape and depth. They are most abundant in areas of the body where sebum secretion is higher. These areas include the cheeks, chin, nose, forehead and sometimes the back and shoulders. They also tend to expand in these areas, due to the high amount of sebum secretion that simply stretches the pores.<\/p>

The main cause of this problem is skin type, namely enlarged pores most often affect people whose skin type is described as oily or combination. Another source of this affliction is inadequate skin care, i.e. the use of inappropriate cosmetics or excessive amounts of cosmetics, which leads to clogging of the pores and, consequently, to their enlargement. Also, overexposure of the skin to the sun's rays can be a substrate for this type of imperfection, as it accelerates the skin's ageing process, the skin loses water, collagen and elastin, becomes loose and stretched, making the pores larger and more visible.

Dilated skin pores are only the beginning of the problems, as they can consequently cause the accumulation of impurities, exfoliated skin and excess sebum produced by the sebaceous glands. The problem of enlarged pores mainly accompanies oily and combination skin, but we can fight it with the help of calibrated pulsed light technology - CPL. The appropriate wavelength of the light beam acts on the chromophores in the skin, shrinking the dilated pores. To eliminate enlarged pores, treatments are performed using calibrated CPL pulsed light technology from the Xlase Plus body. The appropriate wavelength of the light beam acts on chromophores in the skin to reduce enlarged pores. In addition, the longer wavelength wavelengths warm up the water in the dermis and cause the sebaceous glands to shrink, resulting in a reduction in sebum secretion, which prevents the skin pores from stretching again.<\/p>

Nd-YAG laser<\/strong>, which heats the skin and causes it to shrink and stimulates the production of new collagen. The result is smoother skin and gets rid of unsightly enlarged pores on the face.<\/p>

Immediately before the treatment, the patient's skin is thoroughly cleansed and degreased. A special protective gel is then applied and protective goggles are worn. Through 'shots', the laser light is introduced under the skin, leading to a thermal shrinking of the pores.<\/p>
