He\/she will choose the most optimal <strong>CPL<\/strong> or <strong>ND:Yag<\/strong> on our Xlase Plus platform. It is also possible to use both heads in your chosen individual therapy.<\/p><p><strong>CPL:<\/strong><\/p><p><strong>Calibrated pulsed light (CPL)<\/strong> is the latest technology that is an improvement on IPL. One of the applications of this device is the treatment of acne vulgaris and rosacea. The light waves are absorbed by the bacteria responsible for acne formation, in effect destroying them. Another effect of the treatment is a reduction in the size of the sebaceous glands and, consequently, a reduction in the amount of sebum secreted. Different skin mechanisms are used during acne treatment. Short waves are absorbed by porphyrin and cause the destruction of the propionibacterium acnes bacteria. Longer waves heat the water in the dermis and cause a reduction in the size of the sebaceous glands, resulting in a decrease in sebum secretion. At the same time, the activation of fibroblasts stimulates the synthesis of collagen and other biomolecules, resulting in improved skin firmness and density and preventing the possible formation of acne scars.<\/p><p><strong>ND:Yag<\/strong><\/p><p>The heat from this type of laser is used to stimulate collagen production and encourage new cell growth to replace damaged acne scar tissue.<\/p><\/div>\n            <\/div>\n                    <\/div>\n                <div class=\"theplus-accordion-item\"  role=\"tab\">\n            <div id=\"proceedings\" class=\"elementor-tab-title plus-accordion-header no text-left\" data-tab=\"2\" aria-controls=\"tab-content-proceedings\">\n                                <span class=\"elementor-accordion-icon elementor-accordion-icon-left\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><i class=\"elementor-accordion-icon-closed fa fa-plus\"><\/i><i class=\"elementor-accordion-icon-opened fa fa-minus\"><\/i><\/span>\n                <span style=\"width:100%\"> Proceedings before and after<\/span>                            <\/div>\n\n                        <div id=\"tab-content-proceedings\" class=\"elementor-tab-content elementor-clearfix plus-accordion-content no\" data-tab=\"2\" role=\"tabpanel\" aria-labelledby=\"proceedings\">\n                <div class=\"plus-content-editor\" ><p>The first treatment is preceded by a dermatological consultation, where we discuss the procedure in detail and contraindications to the treatment.<\/p><ul><li>it is recommended that the patient is well hydrated<\/li><li>aspirin and other blood thinners should be avoided<\/li><li>the skin must not be tanned or treated with self-tanner<\/li><li>important - <strong>24 hours<\/strong> no alcohol should be consumed before and after the treatment<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>skin should be clean - no creams or lotions should be applied<\/li><li>the skin is cleansed<\/li><li>the patient receives protective goggles<\/li><li>ultrasound gel is applied<\/li><\/ul><p>The treatment is painless; however, the patient may feel warmth and\/or a slight burning sensation. To reduce the discomfort of the treatment, the device head is cooled during the treatment. Application of the gel may be unpleasant due to the possibility of feeling cold. Depending on the area to which the treatment is applied, it can last from approximately 20 to 30 minutes.<\/p><p>After the treatment, the sensations may be similar to those after a strong sunbathing\/light sunburn. The skin may be red and heated, and there may also be a burning sensation, which is why we apply cold compresses to the treatment area. The tenderness and swelling of the treatment site may last from a few hours to a few days.
